Will Smith Offers Shot-For-Shot Parody Of Son Jaden’s ‘Icon’ Music Video—And It’s Priceless

Will Smith’s Instagram page doesn’t feel artificial and curated to perfection—he documents his life as it is. That includes anything from complaining about being tired in the morning, to jury duty, and hilarious proud-father moments. In a post on Tuesday, Will celebrated the success of his son Jaden’s song “Icon”, which has reached 100 million streams on Spotify, with the most epic dad joke of all time.

Instead of a simple congratulatory post, the father of three decided to do something a little more extravagant so he recreated Jaden’s “Icon” music video. Decked out in some (homemade-looking) grills and a thick chain choker that looks like he picked up at a hardware store, Will hops out of the car and starts rapping the lyrics to the hit song.

This is only one of many wonderful moments on Will Smith’s feed. He’s only had Instagram for a little less than 2 months and he already has the best page on the social media platform. We’re not kidding. If you haven’t checked out his feed, stop what you’re doing now. He’s hilarious and wonderful and beautiful and endearing in every way possible.

He posts videos hanging out with his family, some tidbits of wisdom, and he even has a little gameday frenzy during the Superbowl. The most enjoyable aspect about his Instagram, however, is its relatability. Will Smith is a superstar, he is known worldwide, but he’s still not immune to the less glamorous aspects of daily life.
