The Internet Can’t Seem To Answer This Eight-Year-Old’s Math Homework, Can You?

Math was always that one subject at school that you were either really good at or just found it extremely impossible to do. Some of us loved the subject, and some of us just loved hating it. It’s not for everyone, especially when there’s that one question you just can’t seem to answer.

But when you get older, you’d like to think that you’re able to answer basic Math questions right? Especially if it’s a question that’s part of an eight-year-old’s homework. How hard could it be? Well, prepare to feel super frustrated along with the rest of the internet.

Take a look at this particular question that a mother, Dusty, of a third grader posted on Reddit this past Tuesday. Clearly, her daughter Izzy needed her help and she couldn’t answer the question for the life of her. Good thing it’s 2017 and you have the internet to help you out.

Except no one was truly able to give the right answer to this question. People tried, but the frustration that Dusty was experiencing got passed onto the entire internet.

The question read, “Janell had 15 marbles. She lost some of them. How many does Janell have now?” Honestly…I have no clue how much Janell has now. At all. Not even a guess!

And I’m not alone here. Turns out that no one can actually answer the question that was given to her daughter, Izzy.

Everyone ended up pointing out how obtuse this question is without really giving a conclusive answer to this question. Have you figured it out yet?
