Vegas Gunman’s Dad Was A ‘Psychopath’ And Was On The FBI’s Most-Wanted List

By now most people are aware of the tragedy that struck Las Vegas this past weekend. As 22,000 people descended upon the famous Strip to listen to a country concert, terrorism and chaos ensued as gunshots rang out across the open area. What many people initially thought were pyrotechnics or fireworks was, in fact, an assault rifle going off.

The terrorist was later identified as Stephen Paddock.

It has been reported that the killer shot himself before the police could reach him on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

However, it seems like crime runs in the Paddock family. According to several reports, Stephen Paddock’s father, Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, was a ‘serial felon.’

Benjamin Paddock was a bank robber who fled a federal prison back in the late 1960’s and then landed on the FBI’s most-wanted list.

According to both the Daily Mail and a tweet from NBC, Stephen Paddock’s father was a ‘serial felon.’ Old reports indicate that Benjamin Paddock was incarcerated in 1960 for robbing an Arizona bank. He was captured and imprisoned but escaped in 1968.

He spent nearly three years as a free man before the FBI found him in Las Vegas in 1971. At that point, he tried running over the agent with his vehicle.
